The new Employment Certificate Act comes into force on 1 July 2023

On 1 July 2023, the new Employment Certificate Act will come into force. The new rules will impact the employer’s handling of employment contracts and will also mean that several current employment contracts must be adjusted to comply with the new legislation.
The webinar will review the new Employment Certificate Act and certain working conditions that your employment contracts must comply with as of 1 July 2023. The topics we will go through include:

  • What does the new Employment Certificate Act cover and why have the rules changed?
  • Extended duty of disclosure for employers
  • Minimum conditions for employees
  • Penalties if you fail to comply with the new legislation
